For Immediate Release February 1, 2005 NAGCS Appoints Recognized Expert to Review Board
John Przybyla Selected to Spearhead GIS-based Software Certification
Sandy UT — The National Association of GIS-Centric Software (NAGCS) announced today that John Przybyla, Project Director of Woolpert, has been selected as NAGCS’s primary Application Evaluator. Przybyla will coordinate the review of all software applications for NAGCS certification.
Przybyla will examine applications submitted to ensure they are in compliance with NAGCS’s defined standards, determining whether applicants meet the criteria for certification. NAGCS selected Przybyla as their chief Application Evaluator based on his keen understanding of GIS, history in applications development and broad industry knowledge. Mr. Przybyla has had more than 20 years of experience using information technology to solve GIS problems within private and public organizations. He is currently a Project Director at Woolpert, where he manages teams and projects that encompass all aspects of GIS and information technology. Mr. Przybyla will be reviewing and coordinating NAGCS certification applications on behalf of Woolpert, LLP.
