Certification Distinguishes Cityworks among Maintenance Management Systems
Sandy UT — Azteca Systems, Inc. announced today that Cityworks successfully met the criteria for becoming the first NAGCS (National Association of GIS-Centric Software) certified application. NAGCS certification distinguishes Cityworks as an authorized GIS-Centric solution for Asset Maintenance Management.
NAGCS is an association of ESRI authorized developers dedicated to setting apart GIS-based software applications through a rigid certification process. Cityworks becomes the first NAGCS certified application; having met the criteria set by NAGCS standards and performed by the NAGCS evaluators. Some criteria for certification include: ESRI geodatabase as the feature database, non-redundant feature data storage, fully user-definable feature data model and customizable without vendor support. NAGCS certification will ensure clients and users of Cityworks’ unique characteristics as a GIS-centric software option. “Azteca Systems is pleased to make this announcement,” says Brian Haslam. “This sets Cityworks apart as a true GIS-centric application and is a great qualification for our software. Where other systems denote they can “do GIS”, Cityworks has been proven and now certified to not only be GIS-centric, but through a defined process based on standards. We’re excited to be first, yet even more excited about the applications currently in the certification process.” For more information, contact:
